Privacy Policy
MANEGROUND Inc. processes information needed to provide the app as described below. Photo backup and health connections are optional. Signing in does not automatically back up photos from your device.
1. Information we process and why
- Device records: Selected WOD photos, recognized or manually entered text, registration dates and times, workout dates, favorites, nicknames, characters and workout cards are saved on your device for records and display. Registering a WOD photo alone does not count as completing a workout.
- Sign-in: We use the account identifier and available email and profile information from your chosen sign-in provider to authenticate and distinguish accounts. The app does not collect your provider password. When deleting an account linked to Apple, the server processes the provider token to revoke that connection; the original token is not recorded in deletion logs.
- Backups you explicitly request: WOD photos, text, dates and related recognition information are stored in your account's private storage for backup and restoration. Workout cards and Apple Health samples are not included in WOD cloud backups.
- AI photo analysis: When a signed-in user consents to external transmission and requests analysis, a transmission copy of the selected photo is sent through the Supabase server to OpenAI to read the workout. The server manages AI usage and request status. Health records are not sent for AI analysis.
- Plus payments and usage: When you use Plus, the server processes your WODSEE account identifier and Apple's transaction identifiers, products, subscription periods, renewal, cancellation and refund status, and available transaction prices and currencies to verify access. WODSEE does not receive card numbers. Successful AI analysis counts and plan information, purchase attempt and restoration events are used for service operations statistics. Payment statistics do not contain WOD photos, original WOD text or health values.
- Health connections: With permission, the app reads Apple Health workout duration, active calories and workout heart rate on your device to display statistics. This information is not used for advertising or marketing. If you use the optional Garmin connection, the required connection tokens and workout summaries are processed in a separate server area, separate from WOD photo backups.
- Support: We use the email address and message you send us to respond to your inquiry.
Unrecognized movements and personal matches
To improve the movement library, expressions in AI results that do not match existing movements or have uncertain meanings may be collected with the original movement name, minimal context from that line, equipment and execution conditions, the reason for the unmatched result and the analysis request identifier, with duplicates excluded per account. Administrators review occurrence counts, distinct account counts, the most recent occurrence and examples needed to assess the movement. Full analysis photos and health records are not saved with movement candidates. Matches that users confirm themselves are reused only for that account and can be edited or removed. Personal matches are not automatically applied to all users; administrators see only aggregated reference evidence without user identifiers.
App usage statistics
To improve the service, we collect app launches, photo selection, AI analysis success and failure, explanation views, timestamps for record and workout card features, device and language information, and an estimated connection country. We use a random device identifier, which may be linked to an account identifier when signed in. IP addresses, photos, original WOD text, email addresses and health values are not stored in operations statistics.
We may record how users say they found the app, brief feedback about explanations, and server-confirmed AI model, processing time and token usage. AI analysis content is not stored in statistics. Operators view aggregated results in the administrator dashboard.
Voluntary feedback and thank-you credits
When you send feedback from Records, the content you consent to send, any selected image attachment, the screen involved, app version, submission time and, if signed in, account identifier are sent to the operator for service improvement and customer support. Guests can also submit feedback, and only operators can view it. Original WOD text and health records are not attached automatically. Attached images are resized on the device and location metadata is removed.
Feedback and images are deleted after 90 days; feedback linked to an account is also deleted when that account is deleted. To prevent duplicate submissions and abuse, we use a random device identifier and irreversibly transformed connection information. Original IP addresses are not kept in feedback storage.
An account with a verified email receives five AI analysis credits once, for its first feedback submission. The account identifier, grant history used to prevent duplicate rewards, and login email needed to manage credits are retained until account deletion. Operators can view these in the free-credit grant history. Further submissions or expiration of the original feedback's retention period do not grant the same reward again.
2. External services and data transfers
We use Supabase for account authentication and optional backups. The current project's database region is Seoul. Google, Apple and Kakao sign-in takes place on the authentication page of the provider you select. Photo analysis uses the OpenAI API, so photos may be transferred to processing environments outside Korea. Analysis requests are not made for the purpose of providing training data to the model provider; retention under the API's security and abuse prevention policies may apply. Apple processes Plus payments and subscription management, and the server verifies Apple's transaction status.
For each provider's processing and retention details, see the Supabase Privacy Policy, OpenAI API data guide and Apple Privacy Policy. If you do not want external AI analysis, you can use manual entry without requesting analysis.
3. Retention and deletion
Device records are kept until you delete them or clear the app's storage. Some convenience lists, such as recent WODs, follow the app's display and storage limits. Cloud backups are deleted when you request deletion of all backups or of your account. Per-analysis examples and minimal context for unrecognized movements are deleted after 90 days; anonymous movement-level aggregates and administrator review status are retained to operate the library. Personal movement matches are deleted when you remove them from your account or delete the account. Individual operations events are deleted after 90 days; first-use and return-visit information is retained for up to 90 days after the last activity, and monthly aggregates without personal identifiers are retained for 24 months. Plus transaction verification information is retained while you keep your WODSEE account; plan events and AI usage history are removed after 90 days. Account-linked AI request records and optional Garmin data are also removed on account deletion. External providers' security logs and backups follow their respective retention policies.
Email inquiries are processed as needed to resolve the inquiry. You can send deletion requests to our support email. If retention is required by law, we will separately explain its scope and duration. Deleting your WODSEE account does not cancel an Apple subscription; if subscribed, you must cancel separately through your Apple Account.
4. Your choices and rights
You can edit and delete records and request cloud backup or account deletion in the app. You can request access to or correction of personal information, or suspension of its processing, through our support email; requests are handled after identity verification. Manage Apple Health permissions in iPhone Settings or the Health app, and camera and photo permissions in iPhone Settings.
5. Permissions and sharing
The camera is used to take photos. Photo access is used for photos you select and for saving workout card images. We do not request location, microphone or contacts access. When you share a workout card, the image and its information are sent to the destination you choose. Check whether the card includes health values before sharing.
6. Safeguards
Cloud record access is restricted according to the signed-in user's ownership, and photo storage is private. Administrator secret keys are not included in the app and are managed in server secret storage. This information website has no signup or inquiry forms and no advertising or analytics tracking of its own. The hosting provider may process connection information to operate the service.
Garmin connection in preparation
The Garmin connection is awaiting developer program review and is not currently available. Following approval and completion of implementation, we plan to request separate user consent to use workout duration, activity calories, average and maximum heart rate, workout date and activity type for workout records and statistics. Necessary connection tokens and workout summaries would be processed in a separate server area under the health connection and retention/deletion notices above. Health records are not used for AI photo analysis, advertising or marketing.
